Climate change creates a vicious cycle of environmental challenges, social injustice and inequality that affects people and the environment. The art exhibition #LandscapesOfTheInvisible showcases how our world gets destroyed by climate-induced disasters, pollution and unsustainable management of natural resources, and how the hidden, but acute impacts of climate change affect the most vulnerable – women, children, and socially or economically disadvantaged communities.
The non-governmental organisation “Climate Basics” and the group of artists “Collective Failure” organised this artistic display with support from the European Union and UNDP, as part of the EU4Climate programme.
Video below brings insights of how artists see the importance and significance of the fight against climate change.
