We support countries in developing, updating, and implementing robust climate change mitigation policies and strategies. This includes reviewing NDCs, national climate action plans, long-term low-emission development strategies, and sectoral roadmaps, ensuring alignment with international commitments such as the Paris Agreement. Our work involves conducting comprehensive gap analyses, analytical studies, and policy assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and enhance coherence across sectors.

Our support also focuses on technical and legal frameworks that underpin climate action. This includes preparing technical documents, drafting policy papers, and providing guidance for legal acts and municipal climate action plans. We facilitate stakeholder consultations at national and local levels to ensure that policies reflect local realities and institutional capacities.

Capacity building is a key component of our approach. We organize training, workshops, and awareness sessions that equip policymakers, municipal officers, and other stakeholders with the knowledge and skills to implement climate mitigation strategies effectively. Gender inclusivity and equity are prioritized throughout all capacity-building activities. We ensure that women and other underrepresented groups actively participate in trainings, workshops, and exchanges, fostering equitable knowledge transfer and empowering local actors to lead adaptation and resilience efforts.
