Green Reconstruction in Ukraine
Supporting Ukraine’s recovery through a green, sustainable, and future-oriented approach is one of the pillars of our work. Green reconstruction means rebuilding communities, infrastructure, and key economic sectors in a way that reduces emissions, strengthens climate resilience, and aligns with the EU’s green and digital agenda.
This includes providing advisory support to national and local institutions, helping align reconstruction policies with the Paris Agreement, the EU Green Deal principles, and long-term low-emission development pathways. We also assist in strengthening institutional capacity to design and implement climate-resilient reconstruction measures.
By embedding climate priorities into recovery planning, we help create safer, more resilient, and more sustainable communities, supporting Ukraine’s transition toward a green, future-proof recovery.
