Effective monitoring and reporting of greenhouse gas emissions is critical for measuring progress and guiding policy decisions. We assist countries in strengthening MRV systems by reviewing institutional and legal frameworks, conducting capacity assessments, and developing detailed MRV roadmaps. Our support includes designing digital tools and platforms that facilitate data collection, storage, and analysis, ensuring compliance with international standards and EU directives.

We also focus on building the technical capacity of stakeholders responsible for EU MRVA implementation. This involves delivering hands-on training for operators, government staff, and independent verifiers on data entry, processing, and reporting. By improving the skills of those involved in emissions monitoring, countries can produce more reliable and transparent reports, enabling better-informed decision-making and policy planning.

In addition, we provide guidance on the integration of MRV systems with broader climate governance frameworks. This includes supporting alignment with the Paris Agreement and relevant EU acquis, ensuring consistency between national data reporting and international obligations.
